Meet the Team

Shari has been with Illuminate Dentistry from the very beginning. A licensed massage therapist with a degree in laser engineering, she thrives on making patients feel welcomed and cared for. Shari has been married for 30 years and has two grown children. Outside of the office, she volunteers a with the local animal rescue, and over the years, she has fostered more than 150 puppies.

A part of the Illuminate Dentistry team for over 14 years, Karen ensures that patients get the smile they have dreamed about with treatment plans that fit with their financial budgets. She makes sure that all patients leave their visit feeling completely cared for.

Jennifer joined Illuminate Dentistry in October of 2022 and brings more than 23 years of dental experience to the business team. She is committed to getting insurance claims paid accurately and in a timely manner. Jennifer strives to make every patient understand their treatment and insurance. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to see her grown son and daughter-in-law in St. Louis.

A 2008 graduate from the Institute of Medical and Dental Technology, Maria joined Illuminate Dentistry in March 2014. Her role is to ensure patients efficiently get the information and treatments they need. Scheduling, insurance, and billing are all coordinated with a helpful attitude and kind smile. Away from work, Maria enjoys cooking, seeing movies and spending time with friends.

Brandi has been with Illuminate Dentistry since 2016 and has more than 14 years of professional experience. Certified in local anesthesia, CPR and nitrous oxide monitoring, she ensures patients always receive the highest level of comfort and care. Outside of work, Brandi enjoys shopping and spending time with her husband and three daughters.

Jacob joined Illuminate Dentistry in 2022 and carries a dual role: Not only is Jacob the insurance coordinator, but he is also a certified smile designer. If there is something that you have ever considered changing about your smile, in just five minutes, Jacob can use the latest technology to digitally design an entirely new smile for you. Away from the office, Jacob enjoys golfing, boxing, and spending time with friends and family.

Danielle has a bachelor’s degree in applied science and is certified in anesthesia and laser treatments. An Illuminate Dentistry team member since 2018, she is committed to provide the highest-level care for her patients. Away from the office, Danielle, her husband and son enjoy boating, swimming, hunting and traveling.

Taylor is a 2015 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Her passion for dentistry began with a love of visiting the dentist as a young girl. She works to create a place that treats everyone with that same hospitality. Outside of the office, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors.

Brittany joined Illuminate in 2020 after completing her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) program from Sinclair Community College in Dayton. She has been working in the dental field for more than seven years and is certified in phlebotomy, IV sedation, CPR and nitrous oxide monitoring. In her free time, Brittany enjoys yoga, kayaking and cooking.

Lindsey has been in the dental field since 2013. In 2020, she attended Sinclair University’s Expanded Functions of Dentistry program. Lindsey loves helping patients get the care they need and deserve. She strives to make each patient feel comfortable and enjoy visiting the dentist. In her free time, Lindsey does yoga, paints and sews.

Joining Illuminate Dentistry in 2016, Kelly brings over 26 years of dental experience to the practice. She ensures each patient understands their procedure and is completely satisfied with the care they receive. In her free time, Kelly enjoys hiking with her husband and two dogs.

Valerie began working as our Hygiene Assistant in 2022. She works closely with our hygienists and is committed to patients having the best overall experience in our office. She assists our hygienists with taking X-rays, perio charting and taking iTero scans. Valerie also leads our team with sterilization protocols. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family and going to sporting events. She has three sons, one of whom just joined the U.S. Army.

Mallory is a Licensed Advanced Esthetician in the state of Ohio. She assists our patients with elevating their natural beauty by providing them with exceptional skincare experiences in a peaceful atmosphere. Outside of work, Mallory enjoys spending time with her son, Lane, and her dog, Bella, doing outdoor activities.

Amber graduated in 2013 from Sinclair Community College with an Associate degree in Applied Science. She is certified in Local Anesthesia, CPR and Nitrous Oxide monitoring. It is Amber’s goal to always ensure all of her patients have a relaxing and comfortable visit. Away from the office she loves spending time with her husband and three children. She also loves to travel and bake cookies.

Megan has been in dentistry since 2011. She loves providing her patients comfortable experiences and has a passion for giving patients confidence in their smiles. She is married, and has two children with one on the way. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors. She loves fishing, fun experiences with her kids, spending time with her family and watching her daughter play select soccer.
